Hey Guys,
So if we were at a table playing, we would be able to converse back and forth about what your options are for acting on MCs answers, and I could explicitly tell you whether you'd be getting the +1 or not. However, due to the time delay nature of forum gaming, that dialogue doesn't have a chance to properly blossom.
So I was wondering, would you guys like me to include which moves would be associated with the answers? This could particularly be useful for those who don't have the fullest grasp on the game's rules just yet.
However, I am hesitant to do this because I don't want to lead people into doing exact, specific things. Part of the fun of role play is figuring out what your character's approach would be to a situation. Not to mention, one answer could have multiple moves associated with accomplishing that goal. For example, if you ask who's the biggest threat, and I answer, you could roll seize by force or go aggro against them, and you would certainly get +1 for trying to take them out, but on the other hand you could roll act under fire to avoid them, or even manipulate to get them to switch sides. All totally valid and worthy of that bonus.
I've attached a poll to this thread to gauge the response. I don't want to do it if it feels too leading. At the same time, the move I would suggest with my answers would only be that, a suggestion. If you can think of another roll that would logically get a bonus for any given MC answer, I'd let you give yourself the bonus as long as you made a case for it in your post. Very rarely, I may veto it, but I'm not one to quibble over such things.
Am I just thinking about this way too hard? Probably, that's sort of my thing.
Anyway, everyone vote. It's your civic duty.
Hugs and Kisses,
Your MC
